I'm so proud of all of you, you know that? I remember how hard it was to quit, and I wasn't even pregnant.

OMG!!! What a sweet, amazing mama sentiment! When I read this part, I just felt so much emotion for you going through this!!!! Smoking is so strongly addictive, but thinking of you having to deal emotionally with these thoughts/regrets every time that you were smoking and not able to hold both kids hands on a walk...it just make me want to run out and hug you for having this amazing battle.

Especially because, though I'm a non-smoking mama, there are tons of times that I haven't wanted to push the swing because I've been on the phone, or distracted, or just didn't want to. But it must be so much harder to have to deal with also feeling bad about it being related to smoking.

I know I'm kind of rambling, but I just wanted to say that you are awesome for working so hard on this, and CONGRATS for each minute, hour, and day that is a victory. And don't worry for falling off the horse...you can ALWAYS get back on!!! Same for all the mamas working through this!

And, about the loss of being able to take time for yourself in the form of a smoke break, I think you should just screw that and still take the breaks. Whenever you would have stepped outside for a cigarette, just go ahead and step outside for the very same 5 minutes and take a moment of peace. Meditate, pray, think, relax, or do none of the above, but still take the breaks. Each and every one of us deserve them!!!!

Great job!!!!

Thank you so much Emily! That brought tears to my eyes. : You know, in the beginning of something there is usually a lot of support... and then as time goes on, it peters out a bit. It warmed my heart to see a post of support this morning. It was definitely needed!!

I am continuing to be smoke free, and have not had any slip ups! : But, the smoking dreams have started. I've heard that those might never go away.. 50 years from now I'll still dream of lighting up.

Much love and support to my fellow mamas who are battling this as well!
