Brianna's Blanky

I didnt know where to put this. Its not intricate enough to be a sewed item really, but my daughter just LOVES it. She's had more fun with this blanket than any of her junk plastic toys that the family keeps giving her so much. I'm just amazed that something so simple (just a yard of each zig zag'd turned and top stitched) made her so incredibly happy.

I picked some silky material for 1 side (w/ flannel backing thinking it would keep it from slipping, but I dont think super glue could have accomplished that) and some fun furry material for the other side that my DH said reminds him of silky cat fur. (not the kind that leaves your fingers feeling dry, like on costumes, but some really silky stuff I found at joanne's) They spent about 2 hours this morning playing with me (my DD and my 12 yr old son - who now wants his room covered wall to wall in fake fur lol)

(note: the stills of her running barefoot over the fur are just an example of what made up most of the 2 hours of playing this morning, lol)
