I got a job!
Some of you may remember I went back & got my library degree (stbx asked for a divorce the week after I sent in my application). It was a total pita to get it done in a year, and I found a sub position from January - June. It's tough to find librarian jobs since there is only 1 per school, and thought I'd be interviewing all summer.
So I'm going to be an elementary school librarian!
It's really ideal right now...close to home (stbx is unreliable, so this was important), in the same district as dd so same calendar, and a tenure-track position so permanent if I do my job well (which I will
) Also this school is on the early schedule and dd's is on the late schedule, so while I'll have to find something for her for about an hour in the morning, I'll be able to meet her bus everyday when she comes home.
My life is actually starting to fall into place a bit!

I told her months & months ago, when I first started looking that we could get a pet if I got a job close to home. What a memory on that kid!
