Mamas with big boobies

Have your breasts changed at all?

This is my first PG, and I'm huge already, but haven't seen any changes since getting my BFP.

They are sore at the end of the day, but not in the morning, so it may have more to do with the bra I've been wearing this week than with anything pregnancy related.

I was just wondering if it's "normal" for bigger breasts to grow as much, since they were already big to begin with?

Mine are sore pretty constantly. If you notice they hurt by the end of the day you might want to get a new bra and possibly a bigger one. Big breasts can grow just as much as little breasts. I've known women who went from 42 DD to 44 EEE because of baby : Scary thought I know.

I'm DD but haven't noticed much change in my breasts at all. They hurt, esp. overnight, but haven't changed sizewise YET. I have a friend w/ D boobs and hers didn't start becoming insanely huge until the end of her 2nd tri. So I'm holding onto that hope. I imagine I'll have boobs that will completely dwarf my baby's head.

Whew, I'm glad I'm not alone!

Lauren, I'm afraid I might put my baby's eye out with my nipple!

Well, since I've been breastfeeding almost constantly since May 2005, mine have gotten more stretched out. They are also larger. They were already too big for comfort before I got pregnant and now I can't stand them. I don't bother to wear a bra, haven't for over a year, and it really drives my mom crazy! She thinks it's the worst thing in the world I can do and still says, well, you won't be breastfeeding forever... (like she's holding out hope that after I'm done breastfeeding I'll be proper and wear a bra like I ought to).

Well, I doubt I'm ever gonna wear a bra again. I don't see the point. My mom says the point is 1)so they won't droop... got news for you, they're already drooping
2) so other people don't have to see my nipples poking out or see my breasts move.

Ah, that's my mom for ya.

I was like that when Sophia was born. She was tiny little 5.5 pound baby with a tinier head, and me with my big old milk filled breasts coming at her. My nipples looked bigger than her itty bitty tiny mouth, and I thought there was no way she'd be able to latch on to me. But she did.

Mine change a LOT at the end of pregnancy when I start making milk. At this point they are more sore, and DH thinks he sees a difference, but I think it's just an overactive imagination.

Mine have just been sore. I have a DD. DH thinks they are getting bigger, but I too think it is just an overactive imagination.

With my first it was one of the multitude of signs I was pregnant. I had just spent a whole bunch and bought all new bras - cute demi-cups, and a month later I was falling out of them. Pre-pregnancy with my son I was a C borderling D cup. During the pregnancy and immediately post-partum I grew to a G cup. After weaning and loosing almost all of my pregnancy weight, I am still a DDD cup.

I've seen no real growth this time around except that they are exceptionally full at the end of the day and all of the veins are actually raised. I'm hoping I don't get much bigger this time around because my choice for nursing bras in that big of a cup combined with a large band size are like one. I've found a super comfy, supportive, non-underwire bra from Lane Bryant that I am planning on converting to a nursing bra using Jan Andreas' directions. Between that and a couple of the Bravado sports bras I'm hoping to be covered.

I'm a DD without pregnancy. Right before I got pregnant with #1 I acutally got down to a D and was thrilled and they didnt' get massive till 2nd trimestere and I thougth they were big then till my milk came in and I was like a G but they went down after about 8 or 9 months of nursing.

Mine were a DD before pregnancy and were sensitive during all 3 trimesters. I could not WAIT to tear my bra off when I got home from work

They have grown to a size F and have stayed there since my milk came in 3 days after birth! At this point I am uncomfortable if NOT wearing a bra. At least they are full and not saggy. Just huge. Oh, my "baby" will be two in September- still nursing.

Before I got pregnant, I was a DDD. In the first trimester of the first pregnancy, I grew into a solid H. They were freaking huge. I also lost a ton of weight, so I looked really good... all boobs and hotness.

With subsequent pregnancies, I've noticed fewer changes until the very end. They'll be downright scary for a week or two when my milk comes in, and my boobs have been MUCH bigger than all of my babies' heads. In fact, my boobs have been bigger than my babies' entire bodies at first.
