anyone gaining in the wrong places?

I went shopping for a dress today to wear to a wedding (tomorrow- UGH). I am horrified. I don't know if the mirrors in every fitting room I went into added 40 lbs- I am hoping that is the case I am mortified. I had no idea I looked this bad. I have back fat for the first time ever, not to mention I look like I have hams strapped to my sides. :

um yes!! This boy has been packing the pounds on my butt and thighs!! Dh likes the bigger butt, but I'm so not loving having chubby thighs. ah well, what can you do? LOL

In the end of my last pregnancy I got back fat and chubby arms too! So not cool!

Mmmmmmmmm, ham.................

Oh, youmean on your legs. That's exactly what I'm getting. The waist fits just fine but I just can't yank it up past my fattening legs.

Ugh. I always gain in my legs/butt/thighs.

At least this time my belly is growing faster than those parts!

me too! i have only gained 10 pounds, but is seems to be really popping out in my leg/butt area. i hate to be vain when i am pregnant- wish i could just relax and enjoy the ride, but i've got to say that i'm feeling a little self-concious about it.
on an up note- a friend told me that you store your milk-fat in your thighs. i guess i will have quite a reserve ready for this baby!

With my third son I suddenly found my hips spreading SO wide (and taking my butt with them!). I couldn't believe HOW much I spread. I am still way out there now... permanently wide-hipped.

Ya know... my butt will never be the same. I actually really liked mine before, now it's all deflated..... yet bulging at the sides.... as I eat my cinnamon roll.

Yeah, man, the back fat is upsetting. I'm just giving up...I have fat all over. My once toned arms are pudgy and cellulite-y. Ew. Just in time for tank tops, of course. Oh well! Hope it goes back to normal some day.

At least my stomach is finally bigger than my ass. (Only took 20 weeks!)

Amen on the back fat.

I've got the cutest round belly...that extends all the way around my torso. Really, I think my a$$ is slowly extending upward. It's soon going to reach my shoulders.

my thighs aren't that much bigger but from hip to knee they look like a VAT of cottage cheese..ditto for my behind. *sigh* Oh well..... thank heavens for calm digger length shorts!

I really am disgusted with myself. I was at that wedding today of which I spoke and one of the bridesmaids was 36 weeks pregnant and looking fabulous- like she had a watermelon under her dress but skinny everywhere else. Beeeyotch! j/k. I am just jealous... and horrified. I have a spare tire going on...

Yeah - I don't mind the butt thing so much, but the thighs, ugh...don't like that at all.....and I still have MONTHS to go! *eek* I can only imagine what I'm going to look like at the end of Oct/beginning of Nov.... *sigh*

I just hope milk production helps use up these "tissue stores"

Yep, I am gaining um.... all over. I stopped nursing just a week or so ago, and already am packing on the weight! I guess I did not realize how much I was eating while nursing and I was losing weight so I did not worry about food at all. Now I'm paying for those bad habits. The scale is going up and I seem bigger by the day. Last time, I gained 60 lbs. I SO hope I do not do that again!!!

Me too! I tried on some of my clothes that were roomy before pregnancy and they looked like little doll-baby clothes on me now! My thighs and butt are too big for the cute maternity clothes that I was given (that used to fit me). So yeah, cellulite and an increase in size of legs, hips, and arms. I've never been pregnant before so I worry a bit. But I figure I'm eating healthy stuff and I might not be able to eat much later in the pregnancy. And breastfeeding 2 babies is going to take A LOT of calories/fat so I guess it's ok.

It's hard though. I was rather petite before and always hoped I'd be one of those cute women with just a basketball-like bump in front. I think I almost look like a different person and I feel like a whale! I just keep reminding myself that I've never heard of a mother of twins gaining too much weight- apparently the weight is my babies' best friend.

I put my big lard butt into a tankini this weekend and sat on the beach and swam in the ocean. I had some looks and a few teenage giggles, but I feel that I dealt with them okay, despite how sometimes I wanted to cry. I just kept walking around, swimming and laying on a towel in all my whale-ish glory.

Even though I have only gained 1-3 pounds this entire pregnancy (depends on the day I weigh myself I guess), I started out very big and the pregnancy gave me the weird tummy.

Though I look worse than I ever have in my life I donned my tankini and/or a form fitting summer dress when walking around Santa Cruz with all the thin, bronze women, and I just enjoyed myself.

I need to for my family's sake as the worse I feel about me, the less I want to do and that's not fair to my kidlets and my outgoing hubby. But oy! Do I ever feel the pain....

I'm feeling ya. Tried on a swimsuit Sat. Let's just say it was traumatic and enough to get me ass in gear and I haven't eaten crap in two days.

I gain everything in my hips, thighs butt and belly. I am starting to look really bottom heavy. I wish my butt hips and thighs didn't get so big! Why can't I get the nice little round belly that so many women get? I am walking (more waddling) like a duck already! And I am not overweight! I don't really look all that pregnant, I just look FAT!!!
