Insurance question

Hi Ladies,
I did a search of the forum and didn't come up with anything so I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. In relation to homebirths and naturopaths, etc. My husband is changing jobs and we have to pick an insurance from a list and we are having a heck of a time finding decent info.

I think there are a lot of posts that talk about this, but people type BCBS or BC/BS instead of the entire name. Pretty much any time Aetna is mentioned BCBS seems to come up.

I have no experience with them so can't add any more.

I have BCBS. I called them and asked. I didn't get a lot of specifics but they said they cover most of the pre-natals but not much of the actual birth. My MW said she just charges more for the pre-natals and less for the birth so that they will pay for that. Still not sure how it will all work out. Will find out in another month or so I guess. Have you tried calling them and asking?
