I saw the baby today!!

Just had to share my excitement. Today was my first dr.'s appointment, and as she noticed that my fundal height was more than expected for a six week old pregnancy, they did a super-quick ultrasound just to make sure I wasn't further along than thought. We got to see our little blob, and the tiniest flutter of a newly-formed heart muscle.

YAY! It's fun isn't it? I saw mine on thursday too for the first time. I just wanted to sit there all day and watch that little heart. It made me feel so complete, even as I sat there with my pants off and a ultrasound probe in me, I was so happy. My husband and I were giddy the rest of the day. We even got pictures.
I wish there was a way we could record the ultrasound, so I can watch it over and over again!
