Got my Tencel (fabric) ring sling!

It's just beautiful. I got mine in eggplant and in that color and with the Tencel fabric, hubby says it looks like velvet. It looks so soft and is pretty soft in reality. It has a nice "drape" to it and luckily I got the perfect size I think. Can't wait to use this sling!

Tencel is man-made, but made from the cellulose in wood pulp, so it's a natural material. Yay!

Eggplant is one of my all time favorite colors....I need to get a sling too! Glad its all you hoped it would be!

I've been eyeing those also for a LONGGG time. There is just no way I can justify ANOTHER ring-sling unless I start selling some! I'm not sure I can let go.

Well, lucky me I had NO baby stuff, so the purchase was justified. I was showing it to hubby last night though, and telling him about the 4 other slings I want by next year

She gives times (I think 12-2pm Eastern) that points open up. I tried for quite a while to get on during that time (for me it's 3-6pm Eastern) and it was hard. If you just cannot get online then, you can e-mail her (follow the directions) and ask for a bypass. Good luck! It's worth waiting for and once you do get in, you get the sling really quickly, sewn just days before. Love it!

i've been ogling the tencel sling as well, ever since the ring-sling thread we had on here a while back.

i'm still overwhelmed and feel like i want to try a MT, RS AND pouch but obviously don't want to buy all of those things!

Would it make you feel better if I told you I had multiples of all 3 types and wraps, too? You have more than one pair of shoes, right? Different things for different occasions/uses!

Seriously, though, you don't know what's going to work best for you so if you have a chance to try out all the main types (RS, MT, Pouch, Wrap), definitely do it. See if there's a NINO group in your area where you can see things in person and try them out!
