Hi mama - sorry I can't help you with LA lawyers but just from my experience, get the absolute very best lawyer you can afford (or maybe one just outside of what you can afford).

I hired the best in town- it hurt a bit but I cannot tell you how nice it is now to just be able to relax (meaning, my deal was good and it is pretty solid).
