If I type really small can I please break the UA and call him a few choice names? Oooh he makes my head explode. I'm gunna ramble so hold onto your seat.
Our eldest son turned 12 in May, yep 6 weeks ago. Up until yesterday stbx hadn't bought him a birthday present, not even a card or anythin, he claimed he was too busy saving for his barrister (not a normal everyday solicitor like the rest of us common folk) to be able to afford a present for him. Note dig at me.
I found out that he hadn't bought him anything last week when the boys were talking about when dad buys him the PS2 game he promised him they could go to this level, and I butted in and asked wasn't that for your birthday he said yeah but dad hasn't been near the shop and will buy it when he goes there, we are talking about a department store, the same department store where he buys his own clothes and does most of his non-food shopping and drives past everyday on his way to and from work!
So mummabear gets a little agro and lets him have it, both barrels. I am just so sick and tired of the crap, he is always promising the kids he's going to do this and buy that and it never happens.
I drop the boys off at our meeting place today and he has bought ds12 a PSP and says to him isn't that what you wanted and I told you that because it was expensive it would take a while to save up to buy it. DS12 is happy with the psp, the poor kid is so used to being bought. Stbx then says there was no mention of the PS2 game, putting ds12 on the spot bigtime. I am not going to get into this with ds feeling smack bang in the middle so I back down and he gloats, he gloats. GGGRRR I'm sure I burst a blood vessel on the way home
Today is our 2nd son's birthday he is 9 and stbx has been promising for months they are going to some fun park near where he lives, we shall wait and see.
Thanks just had to get that out.
