Hi all, updated photos for you. I'm pregnant with #3 and a pregnancy henna artist. I had some left-over henna from a BOLD event here in town and did a little 10-minute doodle on my belly. The paste is still on, so it's MUCH darker than the stain will be, but it lets you see the design.

It's poorly executed for a professional henna artist, but I did do it on myself with no mirror! The design reflects a bit of what I'm feeling right now. There are pregnant woman all around the center circle, some are holding up the world, and others are burning in flames. Translation: you're either just barely able to do all that's needed of you or you're totally breaking down from lack of emotional or practical support. Expressing this visually with many women helped me not feel so alone and sorry for myself, and it was a tiny bit of self-pampering so that felt good too. Sigh.

I just wonder because my bump doesn't seem to be baby at all, just flab. On another board someone told me it's all guts, so hopefully that's true.
