Postpartum bleeding

I know that post partum bleeding can last up to 6 weeks, but how unusual is it for the bleeding to only last a week? Not complaining, just wondering if I'm normal!

not a bp, but...

I was done after a week.

But I also hemorrhaged and had to transfer to hospital and had lots of nasty drugs in my system. So I speculate that the drugs helped shorten the time of bleeding. Then I bled again at 5w pp, but I think that's my period : (sorry OT...I'm depressed about that one).

I have seen mamas who had homebirths with no meds have little to no bleeding at 1 week. It happens!
