The blubbering will SURELY give it away!

We watched Road to Terabithia last night, and as soon as the sad part hit, I was bawling for a good 15 minutes. I just could not stop. When I finally did stop, it just kept coming back in little spurts.

I am soooo pregnant.

Nah, Bridge to Terebithia makes everyone cry!
you were brave to watch while pregnant!

Yeah, that was the saddest movie I have ever seen in my life. I cried for a good hour, holy crap! it just kept getting sadder and sadder! And then I cried when I was telling my mother about it. I KNEW it was going to be sad, I read the book when I was young. But I wasn't prepared for how heart wrenching it was going to be as a movie. I can't believe they made it into a movie at all!

I agree, everyone cries when they see it. Now if you start crying when you're watching Fairly Odd Parent's, we'll blame it on you being pregnant.

Uh, are you sure you're not talking about Pan's Labyrinth? Bridge to Terabithia isn't in Spanish...

I have been crying at EVERYTHING. You should see me watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition! And anything else, for that matter... Oh- a commercial? Yes, I am crying. Oh- did so-and-so mention such and such a movie? And outa come the tears!

The other night I saw Sicko (the michael moore movie) and cried through the entire thing. *sigh*

I sobbed for an hour both times I saw Bridge to Terabithia. It kills me.

Pan's Labyrinth, YES thats what my pregny brain was thinking. LOL Sorry. But thats supposed to be in spanish right?

As for the movie you ladies are actually talking about. I have yet to see it. Hubby and DD went to the movies to see it while he was here on leave and they loved it, sad stuff and all.

Blessings,
Kimmy

oh, no, I just watched the same movie a couple of nights ago. Exactly, i was sobbing way beyond the end of the movie. *SPOILER* the look on the little sister's face as she became princess was just killing me... the contrast of her innocence and that of the tragedy that had come before. I had no idea that movie was even sad, I was expecting a light hearted children's fantasy movie. ugh.*/SPOILER*

I just saw the new movie "Once," and wasn't able to leave the theatre afterwards until I had a couple good wimpers. Great movie, I recommend it if you need to get some tears out---as if!

But the other day I cried about some cartoon my brother was watching!

I saw The Bridge to Terabithia with my son's 5th grade class the week after I found out I was pregnant. I sobbed like an infant for the whole last half hour and on the school bus on the way home. The kids thought I was nuts.

**small movie spoiler**
But here's why....not only was I newly pregnant, but last summer my sons' lost their best friend (he lived a few doors down) in a similar situation. A horrible, horrible accident while playing on the beach. He was only 11 yrs old. Our whole family was devastated, we cried for days. The funeral ripped my heart out. Watching that movie brought it all back.

I then read that the author of the book wrote it after her son lost a friend when he was 12 yrs old. All of it was so real.

Oh God, I'm crying again!

i watched that on a PLANE and couldn't stop myself from just all-out crying. the dude behind/across from me just watched me, which i thought was rude.

but i didn't like the movie as much as i wanted to. of course it would've been hard for them to live up to the book.

Last pregnancy we knew I was pregnant when we were watching Wallace and Grommits and I started crying when the machine shaved the little lamb and he started shivering because he was cold. My hubby was so cute, he was like it's okay they use the wool to make a sweater that they put back on the lamb. I felt so silly, but could not help it.

Dick Vitale made me cry this morning - how pathetic is that? Granted, he was on ESPN to discuss raising money for pediatric cancer research, so it was a sad subject, but he was his typical Dickie V, college basketball self, yelling away.

"UNBELIEVABLE BAYBEE!!"

also, i kind of had a feeling i was pregnant when at around 10dpo i burst into tears watching this commercial, and it's all been downhill since then.

Oh good, I'm not alone. I actually did a search for Bridge of Terabithia on here so I wouldn't have to start a new post
I bawled so hard with Bridge to Terabithia, I actually gave myself a migraine. And I personally think no pregnant woman should watch Pan's Labyrinth. That movie freaked me out about 15 minutes in. The stepfather was just :
Back to Bridge, I had no idea that it was that sad, I figured it would be more along the line of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" kwim? Good clean fantasy fun, but noooooo... I haven't cried that hard in years.

Haven't seen Bridge...but just finished watching part of a movie, and the end of this part is a total tear-jerker. My dd's (10 and 7) were LAUGHING at me!

Bridge to Terebithia made even my non-pregnant family bawl their eyes out. *laugh* Men and women both.

I started to cry at the silliest thing last week that I burst into laughter! A customer at my job was wearing a t-shirt with a cute painting of a mama blue bird bringing fabric scraps back to her nest, with 2 little baby birds snuggled up in a quilt inside the nest waiting for her. It read "When life gives you scraps, make a quilt" At first I commented on how cute it was, and then I started staring at it, and before I knew it my eyes had filled up with tears! I realized this was very funny and I cracked myself up into lauughter, I could hardly stop! Ahhh, tears into laughter is a great thing!
