DD is 3.5 and mildly insane in a fearless way! I hover but she is luckily quite agile, except she thinks she is a 5 yr old boy most of the time and tries to do what they do!

I hovered over my first dd until she was about 3-she needed guidance about sharing, respecting other children's belongings, etc. She was also very daring, but I trusted her body intelligence quite a bit-she was and is very agile. My youngest needed virtually no guidance-I'm much more lax with her. She has the behaviors down from being around an older sib, and she understands what her body can and can't do.
