It's not like I'm planning on having ppd, but I've been so hormonal and up and down emotionally this pregnancy that i would like to have something on hand in case I feel ppd creeping up. if i'm using some of my placenta does it need to taken fresh and preventively at birth? or can I dry and encapsulate it and ony take it if I feel I need it? I really want to plant the placenta too so I was thinking planting half and consuming half. how would you recommend preparing it best for preventing ppd? Is it effective dried and encapsulated? (I'm worried that actually eating it may be a bit too much for me and definately for dh to witness/know about). If I'm drying it to take as pills what would the "dose" be? Thanks so much...Im really interested in this use of the palcenta for ppd, it seems like such a great alternative to the drugs that many moms with ppd end up on!!!
