Yeah we do that to. It drove every one nuts last time. And when MIL found out the name her first comment "How am I supposed to spell that?"

We had it narrowed to 2 names the last time and truly didn't decide until after she had arrived and that was a lot of fun. Although a bit stressful for the planner in me, I did enjoy keeping others guessing!

This time?
girl: Mila Rose (? - not for sure on middle name)
boy: Nicholas Scott unless we find something better

I know how popular Nicholas, I just always wanted one....still not set on it though.

My husband's whole family has known we were using Ayla Rose for our next girl since my dd was born. Well this weekend my SIL asked what our names were, I told her once again, and she said "omg that poor child will be made fun of to the worst degree! You can't name a child that!" Excuse me?

She also got mad that we named the baby we just lost Riley. She liked the name. Sorry babe. But if our sweet Riley had lived, that would have been his name, so that IS his name. She said she might still use it anyway. WTH? Sometimes....

Oh most definitely...and we don't even have a fully confirmed pregnancy yet

We already have a Noah, Sebastian and Samuel. Boys names come easily for us. We always argue over girls names (although I usually win out...although that's never been an issue since we have all boys LOL).

Boy -- Isaac
Girl -- Sabrina (I like names beginning with S apparently!)

oooh I love Willow...I also like Meadow for girl or boy..no real names yet here though either

I know its early, but I just have a "feeling" that its a girl. I will be happy either way, but only girl names float in my head. At this point, I spend all of my free daydreaming time mixing and matching names. I'll come back when I've narrowed it down!

We have a girl's name picked out (odd since last time we took forever to pick a girl's name). A girl will be Elayne (don't have middle name yet). Boy we're still up in the air about. Maybe Tyler Jr. The boy's middle name will be Craig no matter what.

Girl: Sophia nicole

We've been TTC for two years and had our names picked out before we started TTC. The boy name was "Silas Gerard" and the girl was "Elizabeth 'Libby' Gayle."

Then a couple of weeks ago we found www.nymbler.com and it brought up all sorts of other possibilities!

Girls:
Kennedy (DH constatnly vetoes this, but I like it!)
Ainsley (sounds a lot like DS2s name: Atley)
Lillian "Lily"
Evelyn "Evie"
Arabella
Arianna

Boys:
Archer
Eamon

I talked to DH about it last night and he still likes our originals. I do too, but I'm not 100% sure about them anymore. I also think I need to be more pregnant to really make a decision. Our children have both been named before they were born. We never had an issue of them not looking like the name we'd chosen, but this time I'm going to be more careful about it because it would be impossible to change my mind at the last minute if I've told my kids for months that they have a brother named "Silas" coming in March, ya know?

For a girl, Winter Rose.

For a boy...we don't know. I like Auren Cael; DH likes Saint Relic...:

FWIW, our son will NOT be named either Saint OR Relic!!!

We come from amazing family names, so we have a lot of great names to choose from and honor our relatives.

99.9% sure that this boy (I'm 100% sure this is a boy) will be Robert Douglas. His dad is Robert (Bob) and my dad is Douglas (Doug.) We'll call Pompui Doug, but I'm sure when he's little it will be Dougie. Which I kind of hate, but kind of like.

A girl is a bit more trouble - I have four mothers! (Mom, step mom, mother-in-law, step mother-in-law) and all of them are amazing women that I want to honor. It also happens that all of them are hoping this one is a girl - that's a lot of good juju on the girl side!

The girl name is some combination of Katherine (my name, my dad's mother's name) Anne (Anne of Green Gables, MIL's middle name, and SM's middle name is Annette) and or Jane (my mom's middle name, my step grandmother's name)

I'm thinking Katherine-Jane Anne (NN of Kati-Jane) or Katherine JaneAnne. I also like just Katherine Jane or Katherine Anne.

I hope this one is a boy indeed, the name choice is much easier!

It's weird for me how this happens, but in my first trimester a name just pops in my head and sticks and it always ends up being THE name. I pour over baby name books and websites because I'm not ready to commit but we always end up with that first one. Well, it's happened again (fourth time). Isabella Jane is the only name that comes to mind when I think about the baby. Let's hope it's a girl!

If it turns out to be a boy (a miracle in a family of girls) we like the names Ethan, Jacob, and Luke but are really open to new ideas.

Just got here, and I still can't quite believe it.

We settled on Evelyn Rose a long time ago for our first girl.

The current front runner for boys is Nicholas, but we'll see. I love names like Connor and Donncha, but DH hates them.

When we were pregnant with DS I had decided on Sierra Jeanne if he'd been a girl, and I've been stuck on it since, so I'm hoping for my baby girl this time cause I have a terrible time thinking of boys names. My poor DS didn't have a name until about 3 weeks before he was born as I was stumped once we found out he was a boy.

Of course, another mom in my playgroup just named her baby girl Sierra, and I don't want people to think that I'm copying.

DH asked me about Clara Gayle last night. I just really don't like Clara, but he keeps bringing it up. I can't see calling a baby Clara because all I can see when I hear "Clara" is the little girl in the blue nightgown from my Nutcracker Golden Book when I was a kid. *sigh*

It seems I've forgotten so many things in the 4 years since Atley's pregnancy, including how hard it is to get two people to agree on a name!

You know, she won't be a baby for long!
