And I must say, it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I had gotten a book at the library and we read thru about half of it together. Then the next night we read the rest. She has really opened up to me about questions about different body parts and how babies are made, etc. About two or so weeks ago she would tell me things she had heard from friends/classmates. It just amazes me what a 1st grader picks up. There were two kids that were using the vulgar names for body parts, although she already knew the correct names. We seemed to have conversations in the car sometimes, but not a lot of information was exchanged, and she wouldn't ask me anything. Now it's completely different and if I ask her if she has any questions she'll go ahead and ask them instead of saying "no".
