don't think we've really listened to good 'ol MJ much while pregnant. you silly! hmmm maybe i should find some good breakdancing music for him or her... i can't think of who even sings that Jamonit song..it isn't michael jackson though!!! maybe i'll put on my chipmunk music, as my mother calls it...it makes me happy and i bet baby would like it too. fishface, do u know that fish heads song? that's a good one!!!

my boys were absolutely WILD in there, this one is down right sedate in comparison!! still movement but VERY gentle compared.. I am NOT complaining! (seeing as I have been told so many times there is a correlation with in utero personality and after born!!)

Mine is quite active at night as well...not dancing so much as just kicking!!!

I can't agree with movement inside equaling personality outside. My DD was a quiet baby in utero. She is not like that now! She's a ball of fire. 100% activity 100% of the time! Well-behaved but she keeps me running. I'm hoping this one is getting it all out of her system!

Yesterday I sat in church just going "oomph" every few minutes. This little person is nuts in there! My due dates with Titus and this time are almost identical, so I'm hitting the milestones at exactlyt he same times as last time. Well, with Titus, it was 4th of July, I was making BBQ sauce rocking out toe Beatles and THAT wsa the first time I felt him kick. I've been feeling this baby for weeks now and it isn't just the gentle flutters that I had with Titus, I have already had someone else be able to feel the baby from the outside!

Mine too! This little girl is wild! She's dancing like crazy and really likes kicking my cervix, which neither of my other children ever did. I'll almost be glad when she gets a little bigger and can't move around as much. I can feel it from the outside and my mom felt her kick about a week ago.

Here you go, Lisbeth-- Play this and see what kind of reaction you get from your little one! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pWX46lJc1Y

It feels more like karate kicks and jumps. NOTHING like dd was. She moved a lot but more smooth and calm.
Today I could SEE from the outside the bumps and wiggles!

I think mine took up bowling - all I felt yesterday was rolling from one side to the other!

Sure beats the "Kick Towards the Cervix As Hard As I Can" game that was popular last week.

Jam On It! I have that song on Dance Dance Revolution, which I used to do all the time - before I got out of breath just from standing up. Thanks for the vid LBD!

Last week I felt lots of kicks and saw them from the outside for the first time. This week she seems to be rolling and wiggling a lot, which feels really strange. DH felt a wiggle last night for the first time and I thought his eyes were going to jump out of his head! It's so cool and exciting. Does it hurt as the baby gets bigger and stronger?

hmmm well little brown dog, i certainly enjoyed that immensely!!! thank you sooooo much! i danced my butt off to that girl. and...baby is still. what is up with that. i even held the speaker up to my belly. megh enjoyed it too. that was just wonderful.

meghs' kicks never hurt me...i wouldn't worry 'bout that. like someone said when they get bigger and bigger their movement is less quick...then again...it can be WEIRD too like alien belly. i remember megh moving and my belly was like bloooo oooo p! tom almost felt the baby the other night but of course when i put his hands on there baby stopped both times. same for megh. pretty soon it'll be way easy to feel baby for him and megh. i don't remember megh being this active so early on though. i think the first time i felt her beyond just flutters was when she first jabbed me w/ her foot or hand. i was so stoked.

yes! this baby is a dancing/bouncing/kickboxing fool! s/he is also a real hipster, apparently. s/he dances to this song without fail.

Very active babies in my belly. It's really neat to feel one kicking in one place while the other kicks somewhere else. Anytime I sit down, especially lay down on my side, they go nutso!

Dee--I would say that yes, in my experiences, it does hurt a bit sometimes as they get bigger.

It can, yes! Depends on where and when the kick/punch happens. The ones to the cervix are pretty ugly, and sometimes they like to jam a head or butt up under the ribs. Mostly though, it's just a weird and slightly uncomfortable thing, but fun anyway.

This little boy is really, really active. I love watching my belly wiggle when he's really going!

As far as hurting at the end...it's not so fun when they've got their feet jammed into your ribs. Usually, though, a little firm pressure with your hands can get them to move. Usually.

Mine is really active most of the time. She's partial to Jack Johnson, Beck, and Gorillaz. And she loves "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats, which is perhaps the best song ever.
