Oh yeah, she gets going at about midnight. She's currently obsessed with attacking my belly button. I just pull up my shirt and DH and I just crack up as we watch waht's left of my belly button pop in and out!

I have been feeling this one since week 14. The cervix punches started about 2 weeks ago and yesterday it felt like he was trying to dig out with all fours.

He hasn't moved as much in the last day but he is staying wedged way down on the left side. I can feel a long ridge, that I am assuming, is his back. Of course, that would explain the fewer movements today.

That is hilarious.

Mine likes to roll over and over...it feels like I'm on some sort of exhibition ride and I left my stomach at the top of the rollercoaster or something.

Holy smokes, was (s)he ever givin' 'er at our ultrasound today!

The MJ reference comes from some MJ song........big help, I know. When I was little and heard it I had no clue what he said. "juhmonnit? wtf does that mean. But not I'm pretty sure he give a quick "JAMONIT" in one of his songs. It's not really a memorable part of the song, just something that's jumped out at me since I was a kid.

Perhaps someday I will remember the song so I sound a little less nutty. :

Our baby girl is going to be a trapeze artist, according to Dh! Last night she was somersaulting and flipping and turning head over heels, just flip-flip-kick-flip-flip-kick all evening. It was fun to feel, but thankfully she stopped before bedtime

my babes are totally having a party in my uterus, esp at night - Oi! Its cute though....for now, but once they get even stronger I can not imagine!!!

Mine was also kicking bladder/cervix all last week- ouch!!

DH and DD have both felt the kicks and for some reason when DH touches my belly it riles the baby up and when DD touches my belly it calms the baby down- so they have a little game going!

Kicks can def. be seen bulging on the outside now too!

Oh, and about the ribs thing later on.... DD wedged herself under my right side so far when I was pregnant with her that for the last month or so of pregnancy she actually made an external bruise on me! I have also heard of women getting ribs actually BROKEN from babies kicking them so hard. OUCH!!!

My baby seems to be cutting a rug in there too... all of a sudden. We can finally feel it from the outside. DH made me think I was losing my mind because he could not feel anything last week but this week she is going nuts in there! I love it!

ETA: I was listening to the Grateful Dead yesterday and she seems to especially like Box of Rain and West LA Fadeaway....

Thanks you SO MUCH for that video link. That made my day! I was laughing and so happy I cried happy tears! And my little one did start moving around too!!

Yes! Breakdancing! That must be what she's doing! Because I kid you not, if I hadn't already had several ultrasounds, I would SWEAR I'm having twins. She can manage to poke me in at least 2 places at once. Simultaneously flings every limb in a different direction, best as I can tell.

This baby went skydiving this evening, right into my cervix where s/he rolled around and poked and put pressure on me for a few hours. Ugh, misery! And what, s/he's maybe 10 ounces right now? Can't wait unti s/he is 7-10 pounds!

Then just now, baby pops up high and starts doing a jig while I am watching So You Think You Can Dance.

I can see movement through the belly now, but no one has felt it because even the lightest touch to my stomach stops the movement. The babe just stops either from pressure or just coincidence, so I haven't asked hubby to try to feel yet until I know he has a better chance.

Mine went nuts for the Harry Potter movie. During the action scenes was the first time DH was able to feel her!

from all of my initial worry about movement.... this little girl has started really swimming around in there. a friend asked "like popcorn" and i was like "no! like elbows and feet rolling all tangled up."

i should also say that my first was very active (so much that she got caught in her cord with head on my right, one leg in my cervix and the other on the left- obviously a c-cection) and is a very mellow 2 year old (well, mostly..)
