Help me.

Other genres too! We really enjoy documentaries as well, but I'm in the mood for some comedies I haven't seen before.

TIA!

Changed title from "comedies" to "movies"......

look, i quoted myself! i am so proud.
um...i didn't finish reading your post until AFTER i wrote these.
none of these are comedies...AT ALL. but they are really good.
the docu. is one of those movies that will have you luaghing and crying every two seconds, sometimes at the same time. its just a musical/dance journey from india to spain through the middle east...classic NIP moment during the egyptian scene...and the most beautifully filmed movie ever.
seriously, now i am going to rent it.
maybe i should now quote myself quoting myself....

I'm really interested in latcho drom, but I can't find it on Netflix. They usually have everything. Can you check the spelling for me? Or, who's the director?

Ok, not comedies but

What the bleep do we know? (everyone should see this movie, at least once in their lifetime)
L'Enfant (french, subtitled)
The Painted Veil
Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles (Japanese, subtitled)
Howl's Moving Castle
My Friend Totoro
Trudeau (again, everyone needs to see this movie)

Comedy

Nacho Libre
Kicking and Screaming
The Pacifier
(yes, I am a 12yo boy )
Anything Monty Python
Anything having to do with old episodes of Absolutely Fabulous.

We also Netflix a ton of documentaries (nearly 1/2 of our viewing) so I know that need to get away and laugh. We enjoyed Stranger than Fiction and Little Miss Sunshine. Recently viewed more lighthearted documentaries: Wordplay, Dinner for Five series, Danielson: a family movie, and I Like Killing Flies.

Wordplay
Pan's Labyrnith
The Fountain
Catch and Release
The Girl in the Cafe
MI-5
Dreamgirls
The Pursuit of Happyness
Comedies: Zoolander and Elf.

Borat
Antonia's Line (not a comedy, but a great, great movie, especially for women)
Super Size Me
Airplane

One of the things we like best is renting complete seasons of shows from HBO or Showtime . . .

Curb Your Enthusiasm
Six Feet Under
Sopranos
Weeds
Da Ali G Show

if one doesn't watch it too critically, Trust the Man is queue-worthy.

Thank you for all the replies! Really, truly, I think we'll have movies for weeks and weeks now

We just watched Pan's Labyrinth. I loved it!

We started watching "Sicko" via internet last night.

Me too! And I almost deleted it from my queue because it showed up here on somebody's Most Hated list. To each his own.
