What fabric to use as silk skirt lining?

I have some very sheer silk skirts that I would like to line so I can wear them comfortably. What kind of fabric would be best for this? I found some very cheap satin but I assume that it might be too heavy?
I have no experience with this so any help is appreciated :

eta - I am most concerned about adding bulk and about sewing through the very thin silk fabric. These are very flowy and thin skirts.

I have a silk georgette skirt that I lined with ummm lining (I don't know what else it's called ). There should be a section of it at your fabric store. You could also use very thin silk, but, while it's probably nicer, it's a lot more expensive.

Thanks - I just saw some lining fabric online but it seemed like it might be stiffer or bulkier than the silk. Perhaps it's time to head into a store. I don't want to spend a fortune though.

I was so tempted by the cheap satin, maybe i'll give it a try...

I'd look for cotton batiste or lawn. I can't find the reference now, but I do remember reading once that cotton is an excellent lining for silk; it's what my mom and I did for my wedding dress.

I have a silk georgette skirtt too that is lined with a polyeste that is pretty much a georgette-like fabric itself. I suppose if you would like to have a similar movement as the outer shell of the skirt you could use a georgette or something similar to what your outer shell is.
