Murphey's Law in Pregnancy - Page 2

I just wanted to mention that this is not a game of "Who has it worse" and I do not think anyone should feel guilty about venting or worse by judgeing and compairing their situations to others.

We all have issues and pains and we have never said they are any better or worse then anyone elses, but they are OURS. We own them, they hurt and suck and pull us into those dark hopeless moments. The fact that we can come here and at least I can laugh that My van is running and my crotch is at least happy is a GOOD THING!
We need to smile and joke and laugh and see that as bad as things are, tis not the end of the world.

Clearly those of us up shits creaks without a paddle are at least not alone!

Mental image of 20some pregnant women in a large Viking ship, wearing Viking helmets, chanting "Stroke! Stroke" as we navigate a river of poo...

I've always said, one person's stubbed toe is another's amputation

Can I come commiserate, too? Big s to all you other mamas going through hard times.

Finances have been so tight for us for the last year, we've been borrowing at least $300/mo from MIL in order to make ends meet.

We live in affordable housing and they have strict rules about the # of people allowed in each apt. Well, for our 2BR apt, we can have MAX 4 people, which we're at. Our lease isn't up til end of January, the 5th member of our family is due mid-November. Not really sure where we're gonna go as the minimum income req. for the 3BR is above what DH makes right now. Which brings me to the next point~

DH is up for a possible promotion in the next month. We NEED him to get it b/c then we can move into the 3BR apt. The promotion would be GREAT b/c it's more $$$ BUT it's salaried and they have you work about 50-60hrs/ wk which means more time away from the family. Oh, did I mention DH HATES his job and has been job hunting in his field of choice since he was laid off almost 3yrs ago???

I have NO friends down here. My parents live 15min away which is nice, but I haven't been able to go over there lately b/c my teenage sis (who doesn't drive yet, but should be: ) needs my mom to chauffeur her all over the place, so our schedules haven't worked out so I can visit.

3yo DS NEEDS some outside space to play, but we have NONE in our apt complex, so he's going stir crazy. We have a small tot climber, but it gets old going there AND there's no shade, so in this 100* heat, the climber is unclimbable b/c it's HOT to the touch. I would take the kids to the park, but there's none in walking distance and I need to conserve gas in the car b/c we can't really afford it: So DS is bouncing off the walls and DD keeps tormenting him so they're constantly fighting. This will not get better if we move into the 3BR b/c it's in the same complex, although, maybe we'll have some extra $$ to take the kids out during the day.

I know my problems aren't nearly as bad as others, but I needed to vent. DH is a worrier, so if I start worrying in front of him, he gets anxious and depressed. I feel like I have to at least hold it together when he's around for everyone's sake, but I don't feel like there's an end in sight sometimes.
