alaska - i haven't gotten any of the felt books yet because i have such a hard time finding good wool felt! my latest idea is to dye my own but i have so many other projects in the works right now that it's not going to happen anytime soon.

I just made my first item from one of the craft books. It's a cute cross front dress. I probably should have scaled it back slightly. I wasn't sure on the sizing. I read online that they can run small. I left off the seam allowance and I also made it out of knit rather than woven. I also omitted the zipper since it could slip over her head. I love it! I think it will probably shrink a tad more with washing since I only washed the fabric once before hand.

I can't take a picture of my dress as my camera is kaput, but here's the book I used.

I don't know how to make it simple link like "this" and have you just click on the word. Sorry.

I would really love to get one of these books. Silly question but are there instructions in English?

Not at all You sort of need to already kind of know how to construct the items you want to sew or be able to read Kanji.

if you have sewing skills you should be fine, I don't read any kanji, but the books are very detailed and lots of illustrations.

Can I Pleeeease get in on the yahoo group?!
I have adored this stuff for a while, and even looked into the Echino fabrics but lost the train of thought. The books are absolutely GORGEOUS.
