What the heck was that?!?

Today we were in Whole Foods when suddenly I felt *something* suspiciously like a set of fingernails scrape across the middle of my very large belly. It was slow and strong, and ALL of the way from one side of my enormous belly to the other side. Did the baby flip over? It was darn well painful and I gasped, causing my DH to ask what was going on.

Then I was sitting on the couch and I jumped from another painful scraping-like feeling going DOWN the length of my stomach. I've never felt this before. What is going on?

Maybe he's no longer posterior but 'sideways', making his way to the front? Because he or she could do that kind of ouchie scraping from that angle, right?

When this baby was posterior (until just recently, really), I felt that alllllll the time. NOw that he's anterior I don't feel it anymore.

Strange! I'm pretty sure my baby is still posterior, but it is hard to tell because she is moving sooo little lately. I sometimes feel hard scratching feelings, but they are real quick and only in one area. Kinda like she is just "tickling" me with her one little finger, except it is much more painful than a tickle!! I always thought I somehow bumped/rubbed my belly against something and didn't notice it, and that is why it hurt. I never thought that it was her poking me! My guess is that your baby flipped too.
