so. freaking. tired. - Page 2

I had about ten minutes of an episode of Friends left to watch, so decided to sit down and finish it, and I was like, oh, I'll have lunch when it's done.

I woke up an hour later

just.... can't... do it....

Oh my god. I'm supposed to leave the house in 10 minutes to go have dinner with friends. It's an important dinner, as we rarely get together, and besides, I was going to tell everyone the news. But, ugh. I'm not even dressed. I managed to get myself to the midwife after my morning nap, and then the only other accomplishment of the day was another nap. how can i possibly go all the way into the city! don't they know that involves walking!!

So glad to see that I'm not the only completely exhausted mama around here! I'm going to bed at 9, taking a 3-hour nap with ds2, and I'm still tired! Ugh!!

Oh my gosh, me too!

It is miserable. My house is a WRECK. I don't remember the last time I went to the gym (this is my 3rd pregnancy and I worked out all the way through the last 2...not so much this time)

I dream of someone showing up in the morning and taking my children off to a day of fun (a great job for their grandparents but nobody's done it yet!) so I can spend the whole day in BED! Plus, it would ease some of the guilt I feel over letting them watch so much TV and not doing anything fun with them this summer.

I managed 1.5 hours at the pool yesterday and could barely hold my head up the rest of the day. I managed to take them to an indoor play area once last week...and that's really all they've done in the last couple weeks.

A couple times I've gone to my husband's grandparent's house and sent my kids in their backyard to play on the swing...while I sleep on their couch! At least that way there's another conscious adult to watch them through the back window and wake me up if need be!

Last time I was pregnant my son was 15 months old and I remember being so tired I wanted to cry every time he climbed on something or got in some situation that required me to actually move off the couch...my arms and legs weighed a TON!

But, I do remember that it gets better...hopefully soon! Of course last time my 15 month old was still taking a 3-5 hour nap every afternoon -- there is NONE of that going on around here now!

My word! I cannot keep my eyes open, and it's only 2 o'clock and some change. I've got several maps to make yet, and still stuff to do after that. I can barely keep track of which one I'm on. My eyelids are so. heavy.

work, work out?

I should have been at work six hours ago. I don't think I'm gonna make it, do you? Too tired to do anything. Would like to take out the garbage but can't do it without barfing. Feel like taking a shower is too much effort. I applaud you amazing mamas doing this with young children. I can barely feed the cat.
