vacuum-able HEPA Air Purifiers -- any good???

I know Hepa air purifiers are the BEST for allergens -- and we have had many over the years. Now I am seeing lots of reputable companies carrying a vacuum-able HEPA filter that NEVER needs replacing. MY question is -- are they as effective as the disposable ones? I don't like that they are usually called "HEPA-type" instead of "TRUE Hepa". Thoughts?

I couldn't figure that out so went ahead and bought a Dyson.

Good luck

Dyson makes AIR PURIFIERS?

Ohhhh you mean air purifiers...doh....No, we just bought a huge Hunter air purifier with, yes, a vacuumable filter. We did some research on it first and are happy so far. I leave it on "auto" and it kicks itself up/down dep. on conditions.
