Suppose you were to conceive on the second day of your period.

Would that make your period end then? like a really short period? Could conception do that?

Does that make sense? :

Hmm...not sure I'd even consider it possible. You can ovulate (although it's uncommon) while still bleeding from AF, but I think it'd be HIGHLY unlikely to ovulated only a matter of days before AF starts...and once AF started, I don't think it'd be possible to implant because of what's happening with the endometrium anyway.

From what I remember from TCOYF, the earliest day you can ovulate is cycle day 8. So technically you wouldn't get PG while menstruating, but if you DTD unprotected while you had your period, the sperm can last in fertile cervical fluid for several days and if you ovulated early, you could then get PG. I ovulated one month on day 9 (after having a 7 day period) and that was quite a suprise!
