serger...is this a good one?

Hi all. I am on the lookout for my very first serger. I know very little about them.

I found this one on craigslist. Is this a good deal?

Anything I should be on the look out for?

That was a good serger. It from the 90's. I try to talk them down to about $100-125. You're probably going to need to get it serviced. My guy charges like $85 for servicing so...you can see you're heading into the $200 cost range.

Did you end up getting it? I hope the age didn't frighten you away. My serger is from the mid 90's and it's a rockstar! I love it! It makes even my pitiful serging look good.
