Did Lisa really get a job in LA and that's why she had to move there? Or is she just stalking Nate? I think she's a psycho... We'll see. I think Nate will be devastated when he finds out what Brenda has been up to. Or maybe he'll be relieved.

Hi Andrea! Hey, that was some subtle language you picked up on...hmm...

Cranberry, I was sorta shocked at her (Lisa's) outbursts, but don't think she is that psycho! Hey Nate kept sleeping with her so she was under the impression that maybe he did really care, that she wasn't just a F--- friend. Brenda is partaking in some very dangerous behaviour, she'll prob. get a VD soon....


What about Claire? Whats with all her attitude? Typical angst-ridden teen?

Plot spoilers!

I like Lisa a lot. My vote for her is pregnancy hormones.

I love this show and go over it all week long while I do the dishes.

Anyone feel like you want to be Aunt Sarah but are turning into Momma Ruth? I so feel that internal conflict! I think I love Ruth best of all, trying to find herself again and do the best she can with her kids. These characters are so human! Like how everyone remembers the dead dad. Nate has him pained as this demon, Ruth as this sort of loveable kermudgeon (SP?), etc.

We just came into the show in March. I hope they put this show out on DVD or tape so I can see all of them!

Yeah Elizabeth I missed the first season too!! I hope they come out with it on dvd too!

claire is beyond angst ridden teen - I think she thinks it is cute, clever and endearing and doesn't know that all it does is push people away.... she is building a shell around herself - on purpose or not... I think Mama Ruth *thinks* her kids hate her but they really love her and she just can't see it... they all have problems letting themselves go emotionally so I guess that is why...

did Lisa really have a job in LA... hmmm... it did seem like she was lying ... but she may have just been nervous about telling him she was pg.

yeah Brenda is going to self destruct.... even her friend the prositute seemed annoyed when she was telling her the latest exploit. i think when nate finds out he is going to try to get together with lisa and she's not going to want to take him... who knows.

What's going on with Keith's sister? Is she having her daughter provide urine samples for her drug tests?

I think they'll probably show season 1 in re-runs sometime. Before season 2 began, they showed all of season 1's episodes for people to catch up, but I only saw one of them.

is nate really wanting to be involved with lisa and babe-to-be? do you think lisa's response was right?? i can see her point, but i also can't believe she just walked away. do you think nate saw her point??
and are david and keith going to make it? i don't think they are a healthy couple at all, and i haven't thought so for a couple episodes now. and i feel bad for david b/c he is such a super guy and keith seemed to be and david loved/loves him so much...
how 'bout brenda and melissa's "break-up"? just b/c melissa was talking to brenda's dad?? at least melissa seems to know relationship boundaries, compared to B.!!
and i loved the ruth and nicholi scene, in his house! too cute. they are adorable. hope it isn't over!
claire--wow! showng real feelings, not that whiney teen she has been recently.

all those "kids" of Nate's!!! I said to my dh there is NO WAY he could have gotten that many women pg!!!

Yeah I think David and Keith are not going to break up

I don't think any of them can really have healthy relationships

If they all had healthy relationships, there'd be no show! I think Keith needs help... Is it a problem with his temper or is he suffering post-traumatic stress from shooting someone? I feel bad for David. He's going to end up in an abusive relationship.

Brenda is just trying to blame her hooker friend for her own behavior. She needs a good therapist and she should stay the hell away from her mother!

I think Keith's sister is going away for a long time. Having Taylor staying with David and Keith will also put a strain on their relationship. Not to mention the fact the Taylor is mad at David for telling about the accident.

Gee, this isn't a soap opera, is it?

Hey, been meaning to comment on that Elizabeth! Funny my dh and I had our 10 year anniversary and there is a conflict of us being one foot in very conventional world and the other NOT! The same way I've always been pulled by an artistic side vs. my computer programming side! Good to have those opposite forces, keeps one diverse?

Anyhow the show last night...just keeps on surprising....Keith was so angelica a few shows ago! What about Ruth trying to get to the bathroom and having intense encounters brenda, claire, then brendas dad? and saying how she admires her after brenda told her she was doing some couple all night!?

Claires english teacher was such a jerk, at least he could have encouraged her effort....

Loved the buddist chanting.....

I think Brenda telling Ruth about her activities the night before was only in Brenda's mind? I feel sorry for Claire. Her friend cheats her way into Yale (paid someone else to take her SATs), and Claire feels like a loser because she's going to a community college. Maybe she should stick with the photography.

another *wow* episode.

brenda--hypocrite. although prob making herself look better in her own eyes!

david--you go, standing up to keith and for taylor!

ruth--wow, a lot of $$ to help out N!

claire--loved the pants. go to the art college!

and the shirts B and N were wearing in the session w/ the rabbi, too funny!!

totally agree

I think Ruth is a nut to have paid off that guy.

did she really just drop the lawsuit? if so what was the point of even bringing it up and then solving it in one episode...??
