5WKS 2DAY SCAN - good news/bad news

Well, I went for an early scan this morning following some spotting last week. The good news is that there is a gestational/yolk sac measuring 5wks 2days which fits in exactly with my ovulation date. The bad news is that there is a large area of bleeding within my uterus : I had this with my last miscarriage so hoping and praying all could still be well. I'm cautiously optimistic with the fact that everything is as it should be for my dates.
I've got a scan booked for a week Friday to see if there's more development. :

Thinking good thoughts for you. It must be very scary thinking of what could happen if you've been through this before and the outcome was not a good one. For what it's worth (and no words will ever really make your worry go away), I had a very significant sucbchorionic bleed (requiring a three day hospital stay to stabilize me) with my last pregnancy...and he's snuggled in his seat next to me right now!

I know what you mean, luckily the last few days haven't been quite as bad but we had what looked like a river running down the road in front of house at one point and my eldest dd's school had to be closed cos the boiler room flooded, i'm only glad we don't live in the flood areas, luckily the only bit of water other than the rain near is the beck and thats not that close and not very big thankfully
