we took ds to allergist for testing and found out that he was SEVERELY ALLERGIC to cat, dust mites, and various tree/weed pollen. ALSO he is DEATHLY ALLERGIC to fire ants. the test was an experience that i NEVER want to experience again! i had researched it on the net and such but i was not prepared. . . .
we all lived thru it and now have taken the steps in the right direction to helping ds with his allergies! he has to have an allergy alert bracelet,
but he is loving it. he is PROUD of it, and that makes me very happy. this board was very helpful to me and i want to thank everyone for posting about allergies. no one around us has them, and i was lost at first. MDC ROCKS!
