I suppose I would fit here... I had pretty freakin regular contractions all day yesterday, even intensified later in the evening. I took a shower and they stopped. I'm so discouraged and pissy today. I just want to be done. :

Hello. I'm here. Although today my pattern's a bit different- I woke up about a half an hour ago after passing out on the couch, and I'm having sporadic painful contractions, just like at night, and I also just lost another significant amount of plug (how much freaking mucous plug is in there, anyway?)

Taking the dog for a walk, maybe something will happen. Based on the activities of the past two weeks, I completely doubt it. I am totally sore.

I've been having random contrax throughout the day, but who knows if they're doing anything? I'm sick of wondering.

This is really TMI, but I did have some mucousy discharge last night when I wiped after going to the bathroom. I haven't been having *any* discharge at all the past few weeks, so maybe it was mucous plug. Or maybe not, and my baby will be born in September.

Can you tell I'm getting impatient?

I am still here! I made a huge to do list this morning that there is no way could ever be finished by tonight so I am hoping that will kick me into full blown labor!

Any ideas welcome!

still here: I am at my step-mom's house tonight. They are having the big summer firemans parade/carnival so I came down to spend the night and let ds have a good time with gramma. He got soooo much candy at the parade and now he is at the carnival with my father and I am getting a lovely break. I am really just hiding inside though cause if one more person asks when I'm going to explode I'm going to freak out......: I wish yesterday, or last week, or right freakin now all over your brand new $150.00 sandals for that matter just so long as she comes out. KWIM.:

Okay so I'm being a bit of a pessimist but I figure I'm entitled at this point right: oh, and everybody and their uncle has been giving me dirty looks about the whole homebirth thing tonight... I didn't realize it was public knowledge til everyone had a comment for me. Some were even telling me that "you don't have to be a hero. We can flag down one of the ambulance riding down the street and they'll take you to the hospital" .

I just don't know what to say to that. It's not like I'm being forced to have my baby at home. I WANT TO HAVE HER AT HOME. I am going to make a banner to tape to my butt. (God knows it's wide enough at this point)

Evening to all. and happy labor dust. I think I would like to wait till at least tomorrow at noon when I get home to have her, that way I don't have to drive home in labor!! I'm an hour and a half away from my house right now so for sure she'll decide tonight is the night!! See ya all later!!!!

I'm still here. I get 1 good contraction at least once an hour, but 2 nights ago I was having contractions that were about 12 min apart, sometimes 7 min apart, sometimes 20 min apart for a few hours. I think it was just because I overdid it that day (lots of cleaning!!) because when I lay down they would slow down or stop completely. Since then I've been back to the one-an-hour schedule. :

I was really hoping for the 14th as a birthday for this baby... we'll see (I've always thought Bastille day was cool (big nerd here! )). No sign of mucus plug or anything, though it was pretty minimal with DS (I was also prodromal with him for about a week). I'm due this Sunday the 15th.
