Baby's sleeping habits

I read that by 20 weeks your baby sleeps and wakes like a newborn does now. When the baby sleeps, it sleeps in its fave position too, and usually will always sleep the same, like chin to chest or head tilted back.

Awwww!

I guess mine likes to float to the bottom and sleep on mom's cervix, putting pressure on my bladder, but NOT until it settles in like a dog, scratching, bumping and poking my cervix until comfy.

I'd be sleep deprived too if I had to share my womb with a sibling

I sleep on my side, so baby just settles back on whatever side is closer to the bed. Whn I wake up my whole belly is off to one side and I can feel her curled up in there.

When I sleep on my side, whoever is on that particular side kicks the bejeezus at out of me. Must be squishing 'em!

i have read that this is because baby is lulled to sleep by your movements all day. thus, supposedly when you are still the baby is most active, which means studies have been done that suggest most fetal activity happens between 8pm and 8am or something like that. this doesn't seem to be true in my bubs' case, but it makes sense! so, no worries.

my babe is already a brat about personal space (taking after his/her mama, ) -- whenever i lean over or put a book on my belly or curl up (basically, anytime i do anything that squishes or scrunches my lower belly) s/he starts kicking, furiously demanding more room.

I am beginning to get this now too. I've got a really funky sleeping position that's most comfortable. It's like being on my side, but leaned forward on half of my belly. I am getting protests now.

I can't full sleep on my belly and can't do this fave side/belly position much, so I am starting to get uncomfortable at night. I don't like my back or my side generally.

that is howi like to slepp too -- but not till the tot is out cold, and i can't lay like that in front of him -- he gets offended that the boobs are not avaiable (even if he doesn't want them)....... not baby won't let me do it either.

I have found this to be fairly true.

i do know that this little guy likes to be awake right at midnight..just like all his siblings did...and darned if they didn't stay awake at midnight once they were born too!

I'm hoping that this is true, because if it is, this is one calm and mellow little babe. Which is exactly what we need after DD.

This one seems to be fairly calm too. Well, calm and then prone to temper tantrums maybe

I feel the baby regularly, but it's usually a few frenzied bumps here and there and except for trying to dig its way out of my cervix, it seems pretty calm otherwise.
