Red Rasberry Leaf Capsules????

Thread Starter
I recently came across Red Rasberry Leaf capsules (400mg)...

Would these be what's in the tea?? I know that sounds dumb.....as I am sure that it is but I've only heard of and read about it in tea form.

I am NOT a tea drinker...no matter what you sweeten it with....

Unless it's iced tea and for some reason I only drink that when we go out....

What would be the equiv to a cup of tea?? I capsule???

Also, as far as EPO goes.....

I've seen it in 500, 1000 and 1300 mg...which is the right one to get????

Or is Borage Oil ok instead (have read they are interchangeable) as it's cheaper for me to get.. It comes in 1000 and 1300mg

All this for when the time comes of course.......

Good question- I was wondering the same thing about the RRL capsules.

I do know that according to my Hale's Medications and Mother's Milk book, borage oil is contraindicated for pregnancy and nursing- I was taking it for my skin, but stopped when I started TTC at my midwife's suggestion.

As for the red raspberry capsules.... I did a combo of tea drinking and capsule taking during both my pregnancies. Towards the end, I got tired of the tea, so I would take 1 capsule (400 mg) a day. The last few weeks of pg , I think I may have taken 2 or 3 capsules (I went to 42 weeks both times). Anyway, maybe a midwife around MDC can fill you in better about the usage.
