Hah! That would be funny - they'd be so crazy and naughty together that they would never touch the ground. I can't see it...but who knows except JKR?
...and yes, I do think Luna's character will "come out" per se in Book 7 and develop further. We do know that she's extremely intelligent and that she's a Ravenclaw and I think that veiled archway will somehow fit into all of this.
I guess I think of Harry/Luna in more of a "You complete me" sort of way - that Luna's dizziness and passive acceptance balance all of the seriousness, turmoil, and anger in Harry's life. JK even mentions how she makes him feel a peacefulness (I don't remember what word was used to describe his feelings in the hallway).
Perhaps she will lead them to a Horcrux because of her crazy beliefs or because she's a Ravenclaw...I just see her importance going up in Book 6 more and more: why, for example, was she placed in the hospital scene when she didn't even say anything? I think because she's a new part of Harry's inner circle - a breath of fresh air (Ravenclaw stands for air - per JKR's 4 Elements Analogy - to Gryf's fire, Slytherin's water, and Huff's earth)
IMHO, Fred needs someone solid to balance his rebellious side. He'll marry someone who's like Mrs Weasley! I'm still betting on Harry/Luna - even if I'm the only one!
Have a great night.
