Advice for a newbie?

OK so my skills are lacking to say the least. I haven't really made anything other than a quick hem in a decade or so.
But I'm dying to try this....

Anyone here able to just look at it and tell me if it looks simple enough?

I'm also thinking a 3/4 circle skirt would be even easier but not quite as cute....

Any and all input is appreciated. I am somewhat nervous to try making my own clothes......
Thanks!

Maybe if I practice enough I can attempt to try a redondo skirt

Not a word?

Does it look easy enough for a beginner?

anyone......?

I'm guessing I'm just going to have to suck it up and try it and hope its not too complicated.......

This one looks to be very simple. It is one that I would do if I wore skirts. I have a simple pattern for a child's dress that I make over and over for my daughter she loves it. Very easy to understand and even has some helpful tips in them for us not so certain beginners.

Hope it helps.

I think 3794 would be easier because of the lack of a waistband. Both are cute!

Thanks! I was worried.... I wasn't sure if it would be as simple as it seems and having never made a skirt at all i'm nervous. We'll see how it turns out!

I hope to make somethin coordinating for my princess when i'm finished my skirt; we'll see.

What pattern do you love gynsgrl?
