How do I change my username? - Page 2

technical question here--

on threads i started before i changed my name, the thread still shows my old name on the forum page (you know, before you click on the thread title).... is there any way to change that?

Just curious how long it usually takes for a name change? I sent PP on Sunday to change my user name (so it matches what I use on other forums). It's nothing urgent, I'm just wondering. Thanks!

And I'm also wondering how long it takes.

I transferred the money to PayPal.
The money was collected by mothering on October 16th.
I included my current user name in the notes as well as the user name I would like, but PayPal (Firefox) wouldn't allow me to type in the name I wanted, which is ~Purity♥Lake~

Firefox wouldn't allow me to use the heart.

So, I've sent three emails to the mothering administration and have heard nothing from them.

It has now been 10 days since my request.
Not only has my user name not been changed, even though mothering has had my $2.50 since the 16th, but no one has contacted me or responded to my email questions at all.

I found this thread and thought it's my best chance of getting any kind of response.

Oh crap.

I um, that is totally my fault. Someone ELSE with Abigail in their name changed their name and well, I kind of overlooked it as I mixed them up. I am a huge dork.

My dd's name is Abigail and so you know...Abi/Abigail :

I can do that now. Many apologies. That was completely and totally my fault.

Yeah I know : a perfectly sweet old fashioned name.

It was one of my great grandmother's names. How little did we know of the horde of Abigails that would be sweeping the nation.
