Thanks guys! It certainly was intense! There were two times when I completely lost it and just sat and cried. I'm so so so against interventions (unless necessary), and do believe in my body to birth. So, for it to happen this way was just devastating to me (and the pain of the cervical massage, etc. was unbelievable.). But, I persevered and ended up with the delivery that I wanted. Natural, and in the position that my body felt the most comfortable in. And as a result... NO TEARS this time!!! Yeah!!!

Keri- Congrats to both of you! I am a little jealous of all these "get to just hold the baby forever right after he/she was born stories." Since both were a month early, they had to go through all the immediate checks for breathing and all that. Augh! Enjoy your time with your little one!

Ok, I just looked at the pics and I must say you have a gorgeous family Keri!! The new baby fits in JUST PERFECTLY too!! You are one lucky mama!!!

Keri- I loved reading your birth story. Sounds like both of our kids had suprising births in store for us. Leland was posterior too. I am SO glad for the way your birth turned out!! Hugs to you-
