He was born July 12 at 10:36 a.m.
8lb 9oz, 20.5 inches
Went into labor around midnight...woke DH up around 3...got to the hospital around 7:15...first time they checked me I was 8 cm...broke my water and soon after pushing...pushed for 15 min and he was here! Cord was around his next twice but he was fine. I had one stich and some extra bleeding that required meds, but the birth was great -- no pain meds and the kind of labor I hoped for -- fast but not too, peaceful and safe! The MW, doula and nurse were fab! Eli's the sweetest and DH and I are thrilled!
