Any opinions on this? As my due date is rapidly passing me by, I'm wondering if you have opinions on using these teas to get BH to progress.
Thank you!

Is this your first?
Do you have a midwife or doctor?

I personally have had experience with cohosh, and have seen them (black and blue used -alternate the two) work and have seen them not work too.
My ladies take RRL as a tea thru- out the pregnancy, not for inducing.

How over due are you? I usually tell my ladies to not try anything until they are approaching the 2 week over due, then only if they want to they can try something like that.

The cohosh---ew. I'm all for natural remedies and such, and I wouldn't have tried medically inducing or anything, but still---the cohosh- oh jeez. It was bad. I was told to take it every 45 minutes for 6 hours, and then if it didnt work to try the next day. I managed to do that for 3 hours before getting such a sick stomach that I couldn't handle it...if I had kept taking it, I wouldn't have had anything in me for energy to push lil baby out. And, it didnt work....not even one contraction from it.

I had hubby check my cervix, we had sex (and side note, semen ORALLY is an inducer), and took a bath in dandelion. She was born the next day.

Good luck.

I guess it's worth a try but without getting my hopes up too much.
