So what are you doing differently (if anything) this pregnancy?
nothing much. Relaxing a bit more I guess. My last pregnancy, which ended at 11.5 weeks, I was a complete mess the whole first month after we found out. This time I realize there is nothing more I can do to keep a baby, so I might as well just enjoy it!

Great question....so far nothing! Well I guess that's not true, I am NOT running to the dr for hcg levels and early u/s. Big progress for me. I have also not told many people and intend to hold out for longer than before...being #5 and all! I would also prefer not to find out the sex of baby this time, but I'm sure that will prove to be a challenge for me. I want to take my time to enjoy each day more this time.

I'm going to a midwife 75 miles away to have a VBAC. The birthing climate in my town is straight outta the twilight zone. Also, I am going to trust my body this time and try to relax!!! I'm not finding out the sex, and I am not asking for a million ultrasounds like I did last time. I am going to leave the maternity clothes in the closet until I am actually showing. I think I was wearing maternity jeans at week 6 last time. I'm such a dork!

I will be trying for a homebirth VBAC this time. I also won't be finding out the sex until the end and I am just going to go with the flow and take it easy

Third baby here, I haven't cut out my cup of tea in the morning, although it didn't taste very good today....Not doing much different so far, taking it as easy as I can when I can.

My abdomen sure hurts this time though. I don't recall feeling this uncomfortable with my other pregnancies.

I'm going to really focus on eating healthy and hopefully not gain as much weight. In the past I gained over 40 pounds. This time, I would like to gain no more than 30.

I also haven't called an midwife or OB yet. Haven't even decided on whom we will go with. I will probably wait until at least 11-12 weeks (when you can hear the heartbeat) to make an appointment, and hopefully by then have decided.

I just want to be totally relaxed about things and try not to let my hormones get the best of my patience (especially with my children and husband). It does feel good to have been through this 3 times before so I have a general idea of what to expect.

A lot of what I'm doing is the same, but here are the major changes:

1. Eating much healthier - no sugar or anything sweet except whole fruit, no decaf coffee, no processed foods, more veggies, etc. I'd like to gain much less than the 50 pounds I gained last time. I'm constantly starving during pregnancy, so I've realized I have to be super careful about what I eat.

2. Exercise every day, usually a walk. Yoga 2-3 times a week.

3. Stress and worry less. I'm going to study hypnobabies to help keep myself relaxed. I'm probably going to add some meditation and/or some yoga poses to my evenings.

4. Turn down everything not medically necessary. I did well with this last time, but I gave into some things like GBS testing which I won't do this time.

5. Test my BP at home. I'm 100% sure I have White Coat Hypertension, and I don't want to stress out about what my BP levels are going to be at each visit.

not really doing anything different from my other pregnancies so far

I will not be getting "prenatal care" and am UCing this time so I am skipping the MW

It's good to see some other VBAC mamas. I will also be having a homebirth VBAC after having an all kinds of technology and scare tactic hospital experience the first time. My husband and I are having a debate on the US (which I will probably win). He's come a long way since our last experience and is on board for the home birth, but he thinks that the ultrasound is a necessary part of responsible prenatal care. I am in the process of passing on the information that I have found that shows that it is largely unnecessary and the risks are unknown. Emotionally, with ds1, the c-section was such an invasion of my body that I really don't want any unnecessary "invasions" this time around, and ultrasound falls into that category.

Everything, sorta.
My last pregnancy was via IVF, and we had two u/s before we were even released from the RE. Then at 30 weeks we found out my son has Down syndrome, so we went from a VERY high intervention start, to a low intervention care with my midwife, back to VERY high intervention with perinatologists (once weekly targeted u/s, amnio, etc) and a hospital birth (csection for double footling breech). It was quite the ride.
This pregnancy was a surprise (woohoo! a freebie!) and we're planning a homebirth. Declining most prenatal testing, with the exception of a 20 week anatomy scan. With the day-to-day pregnancy stuff, though, I'm WAY more relaxed this time around.

Not much at all. Doing what I usually do. I will need to find a new homebirth midwife, so right now I'm looking into my options. We may end up UCing, so that could take us down a different path this baby thn with our last 4.

Well, we're contemplating UP/UC, so a lot!
2nd time for us and I'm changing just a bit. Mostly, I ate well, did my teas, etc last time, but this time I am planning a homebirth with a midwife and am SO EXCITED! I hated the whole hospital thing last time and really look forward to being home this time!
Not much yet but as everything progresses I hope to take more pictures and do more "pregnancy things" like take yoga classes or swim or something.

This will more than likely be our last little person so I want to savor every moment.

I'm hoping to journal throughout this pregnancy also.

Same as a lot of you-eating better and definitely don't plan to gain as much weight as I did last time.

Haven't made an appt. with a ob/midwife yet either. Last time I was pretty pissed that they wouldn't see me until 7 weeks.

This will probably also be our last pregnancy too and I really want to enjoy all of it.

This is my fourth pregnancy. The pregnancy before this one ended with a m/c at 12-weeks so I am a bit nervous this time around. The other things I'm doing differently is taking all of this in and savoring it all. I'm also seriously looking into a homebirth this time. My other births I had epidurals and was induced with my twins. None of that this time.

I am so so soooooo EXCITED! Please let me know what info I can give you and I'm sure there are some other ladies around here that can offer some insight as well.

FYI - Karen and I have known each other since ttc our first dc....almost 8 years? Crazy!
