So..tell me what to expect at the HP book party??

I'm bringing my daughter to the HP book party at Books-A-Million and I have no idea what to do. Does everyone get dressed up? My daughter wants to but I really have no desire to wear a costume myself.

Any suggestions as to how she should dress?

Is the party basically had so that people can start standing in line early? Am I going to be waiting until 4:00 in the morning to actually get my book?

It really depends.......some places will have costume contests, others won't.
