I noticed a lot of you are taking your own stuff, like pillows and other stuff from home. I would like to, but I'm freaked out about hospital germs contaminating my stuff. Am I just crazy?

Hospitals don't supply any toothbrushes? I thought they supplied basic toiletry items, and the reason people bring their own is because hospitals have poor quality ones. I really don't care what toothbrush or soap or shampoo I use for a short time.

I was thinking to pack my in-case-of-transfer bag with:
*slippers
*clothes to wear home (maternity clothes that i grew out of already, so I won't miss them while they are sitting in the bag)
*clothes for the baby to wear home
*paperwork: birth plan, power of attorney, copies of records
*snacks
*lotion

Now some of you are making me worry that i need to pack ALL my toiletries. Don't they supply soap and shampoo and toothpaste and toothbrushes and stuff?

Bumping because I HAVE to pack my bag (my goal is to do this tonight) and I want to be able to go off of my list.

BTW, any momma's who've BTDT have any new advice to add?!
