Pressure down low

I am going to call my HCP tomorrow but am just wondering if anyone has ever experienced pressure/pain down low. I am thinking my bladder, because whenever I have to pee really bad and hold it then release it the pain is so intense I feel like I am going to vomit or pass out. First I thought it was a UTI but it comes and goes so am just wondering if it is the baby sitting on my bladder but then don't you think it is a little soon? I mean the baby only weighs around 7 oz. I never experienced this w/ my first pregnancy so it concerns me. Also when I sneeze or cough I feel the pain and pressure down there also, but nothing like when my bladder is full. Anyone ever experience anything similar to this. Thanks.

I would call your OB tomorrow. Bad pain is never a good sign. They will probably do the usual: as for history of bleeding, if the pain is regular at all, discharge, pain when urinating, how much water are you drinking... all that stuff. Then go from there.

Let's hope it is something simple!

They are sending urine sample into lab, so don't know yet, but she says sounds like a UTI. I started taking an antibiotic on Saturday and already feel much better Thanks for asking.

I had a BAD UTI last month.

It began with pressure but I just brushed it off. I wish I had gone to see the doctor right away because overnight it changed to excruciating pain and bleeding - it was very scary! Good news is: 1 hour after the FIRST antibiotic pill, the pain was almost all gone (I finished the whole course of course )

ETA - UTI is very common during pregnancy
