I'm in your same boat! My oldest two dds bio- dad walked out before DD#2 was born when they were babies i would try to call him he refused every time, not wanting to see them at all then i met DH he too adopted the girls they were only 1 and 2 at the time and have only known him as Dad but they are also biracial so we eventually told them the situation, they both are dealing with it in different way, its really tough some times.
My oldest DD wants to meet her bio-dad, but just so she can know what he looks like, they were doing a family trait thing at school and she is the carbon copy of her father (she doesnt know that though) My DD2 doesnt want to see him at all
She is happy with DH.
