A while back I asked a question about how normal it was to stop bleeding only one week post partum, and I got wonderful, quick responses. I can always count on the MDC Birth Professionals to give me honest, accurate answers so here I am again.
I did stop one week post partum, and started again. Stopped. Started.
I know, fairly normal, right. I got to that clearer, yellowish stage and thought I was surely seeing the end of it now!
Now, at nearly three weeks, I suddenly have bright red spotting, like it's from a fresh bleed.
Not enough to soak a pad, and I am not feeling faint or feverish or having palpitations, hallucinations, diarrhea, seeing spots before my eyes or having blinding erections lasting more than four hours
... so I reckon I am ok.
Is this just simply my cue to slow down and take it easy?
Just for fun, besides bad smell and profuse bleeding, what other post partum danger signs should new mothers look for?
Thanks in advance! I am always extremely grateful for any insight!
