My baby is no longer breech

I had an ultrasound today and he is head down. I am SO relieved!!!

The Dr said he can still turn again, but let's hope he doesn't! I'm 37 weeks tomorrow.

Now I wonder what did it so I can avoid doing that again so he doesn't turn back! lol

Sit straight and avoid soft seats (like your couch)!!! If your back is curved from not sitting straight you create a hammock essentially that allows for some acrobatics that result in less than desirable positioning.

Also when sitting, try to remember to keep knees lower than hips...this keeps pelvis in the best alignment to keep baby head-down.

And WOO HOO by the way! Good baby, good baby. They know what they need to do!

Thanks!!! I feel so much less stressed out now and hope my MW doesn't mention c-section to me again ever!

Hooray, Baby!

I think mine is still vertex too. Today I laid down to take a nap and his head slid out of my pelvis into my side. I pushed it back in and stood up so he would go back into my pelvis. Then I decided to skip the nap. I'm afraid of sleeping! I wish I could wrap something around my belly so he doesn't have room to turn...like a girdle! :

That's great news! I think mine has moved vertex from transverse, too.

I've heard that once a breech baby goes transverse, you should sleep propped up--keep gravity on your side.

Good baby! Now stay that way for your mama!

Mine is head down for now too, but still moving around a lot...

YAY!!!

Now stay put little one!

My guy was actually anterior till Sunday and now he is posterior But both of my previous labors were with posterior babies...So I'm wondering if that is just how my body works, shape of my pelvic outlet maybe?

Yay!! I am so happy for you.

I guess now is the time to squat a lot and try to get him lower so he is locked in.

Great job baby!
Swimming in the breaststroke or frog style is also a great way to get baby locked in tight. "Sticky" vibes!
