More dumb questions from stupid people...

All right...so we've been married for 10 years and it took us nearly that long to get pregnant. The whole baby thing came as a surprise to a lot of people, me included. However, how many times am I going to get asked, "Is that your baby?" Like while he's attached to my breast or being removed from the backseat of my car in his carseat.
Does anyone else get this?
The amount of self-control I've exhibited so far is pretty amazing. The temptation to say "no" and then not say anything else is great, my friends. That or to shriek "Ahhh! What baby?!"

Go for it. Especially if you're nursing, say "No, not my baby." I also like the shrieking idea.

A good deadpan "nope" works wonders. Especially when they ask if the baby can breathe in the sling.

"Can he breathe in that thing???"

"Nope!"
