tool belt FO

wasn't sure if I should post this here or over in sewing, but I figured its more toy so.....
I made my newphew a tool belt/apron using a pair of DS's old jeans - it's the second post down in my blog (link in my sig). Let me know what you think

And very timely, since I just told ds today that I'd make him a tool belt

the original idea came from www.betzwhite.com - the one thing I had to modify though was the pocket she put in the back of her apron - I couldn't get that to look right b/c with the small jeans, the belt loops hang over the waistband edge. Instead, I cut that whole part off (this will make sense if you look at her tutorial) and added the new fabric, made it into a casing for the belt, and put a new pocket on the front instead.
