PAL ~ Pregnant After Loss - Page 2

Felixmom, how many weeks are you right now? FWIW, I never heard a heartbeat at 13 weeks....so the doctor told me to come back a few days later and there it was. It all just depends on where the baby is laying and the way your uterus is (if it's tipped back it'll be harder to hear anything). I'm praying for you and your little bean.

My doctor didnt even try until 14 weeks, and told me before hand that there was a 50/50 chance we wouldnt hear anything, and not to get worked up if we didnt.

My thoughts are with you.

Felixmom-I'm sorry you are having to wait. Not knowing can be terrible, you just don't know how to feel. we went three weeks last time not knowing if i was miscarrying or if bleeding was from some other source. i will definately be thinking of you and sending mental hugs.

You mamas are wonderful ! Words cannot express how much I appreciate your moral support and encouragement.

Today I had lunch with a friend of mine who happens to be an emergency room physician. She'll squeeze me in for beta# test and an ultrasound to see how far along I am. This will happen on Aug 9 and I'm looking forward to it, but will probably be a nervous wreck that day... still crossing my fingers and hoping this pregnancy is a going concern!
